Qualification for registration

 

• complete an accredited engineering degree recognised by BEM
• possess current and valid professional registration with BEM
• acquire practical and diversified experience of not less than seven (7) years after graduation, at least two (2) years of which shall be in responsible charge of significant engineering work
• having Continuing Professional Development (CPD) points at satisfactory level
• no record of serious violation on technical, professional or ethical standards, local and international, for the practice of engineering.

Procedure for Registration

• An application as ACPE shall be made on the prescribed application form and submit to :

• Upon recommendation of BEM Monitoring Committee, an application as ACPE will be submitted to ACPECC  for approval.
• Successful candidate will be accorded the title of ACPE/MY  and the name will be listed on the ACPER.
• Certificate of registration will be issued in the next coming ASEAN meeting (3-6 months)
